I know this is going up so, so, so late!!!! Please forgive me one last time!
Note to self: Quite making promises! Something inevitably comes up and ruins all good intentions!
I was sick most of last week and now Miss Priss has RSV!!! Seriously…does it ever stop?! Although I am thankful that we do not have the flu running rampant, I would still like all this nasty sickness to GO AWAY!!!!
With that being said, I am super excited about the little holiday tomorrow! I have always loved handwriting. In fact, I still write lists because I love writing! Yep…just another reason I’m weird and I know it! lol But seriously, I was so excited to really research and find out more about Handwriting Day and its history.
I’ve created a printable with just a brief history of Handwriting and a few fun activities. I’ve given you a few sites where you can view (and print if you wish) early scripts. I think it would be fun to practice writing some of the older scripts with the kiddos. I’d like to show Mister Bull that he has it REAL easy now with how simple our penmanship is – LOL!! It might make him appreciate handwriting a little more – at least for a couple days, right?!
